Anlaby Station
Anlaby, on the edge of South Australia's Clare Valley, dates back to 1839, and, at its height, 60,000 sheep were shorn in a season. The station remains the oldest continuing Merino Stud on mainland Australia. You can buy beautiful throws and wraps spun from the wool of this historic and important bloodline: each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. And Anlaby, with its wonderful homestead, shearing shed and stables, hosts weddings and offers accommodation. Go to www.anlaby.com.au
