GARDEN CLUBS AUSTRALIA EVENT
I will be guest speaker at a special luncheon to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Garden Clubs Australia: the event will be held in Sydney on Tuesday 7 September. SYDNEY LAUNCH
My new book,
Seasons in my house and garden', will be launched on Thursday 4th November at the Art Gallery NSW with a morning tea at 10am, followed by a 'garden chat' illustrated with pictures from my garden, and from my travels to gardens, and kitchens, around the world. A light lunch will be served following the formal launch. Tickets are $25.00 for members of the Art Gallery Society, and $30.00 for non-members. For bookings phone the Gallery on 02 9225 1651. Seasons in my house and garden describes, month by month, what to do when, and how, in the garden; what to harvest, and how to cook with it: what' s in season, and how to arrange your flowers for the house. The book tells how to host a garden wedding, prepare a Mother's day picnic, or a lavish afternoon tea, and how to create table centrepieces and decorate the house for Christmas.

I'll be at Benalla on 17th November, for the Victoria launch of Seasons in my house and garden and to present an illustrated lecture for Benalla Garden Club. The book will be launched by the wonderful garden writer, Michael McCoy.
