THE CONSTANT GARDENER'S SCHOOL
The 2010 lecture series at The Constant Gardener’s School of garden making began in June, with lectures for small groups held each Friday, from 10 am to 12 noon. The school is conducted by horticulturalist, writer, photographer and lecturer, Dr Holly Kerr Forsyth, PhD, with presentations by guest experts. The first series of four lectures,was titled:
Gardening from the Ground Up: the beginner’s guide to garden making.

Topics included  ‘What to plant and how to do it.’; ‘Fertilising and watering.Compost: black gold';  ‘Pruning for growth and maintenance’ and ‘Pest prevention: organic ways to prevents pests, diseases and weeds.’

OCTOBER LECTURES SERIES FULLY BOOKED
The next series, planned for June 2011 are titled:
What Style is Your Garden?
Topics will include 'Organic Veggie Growing'; 'Gardening with Bulbs'; 'Gardening in Small Spaces'; 'Gardening by the Sea'; 'Low Maintenance Gardens' and 'Success with Borders'.

Take home notes are provided and each session starts with the essential morning coffee and  home-cooked morning tea. Cost is $176 for the series of four lectures. For further details email holly@hollyforsyth.com.au
